99 v6 30v oil leak

can anyone help with my incontinent v6 ???? its leaking like a good un, dropping oil into plug wells and creating an intermittent misfire. I hear on the grape vine that the pcv might be faulty, is there a 3" version (a hockey puck) which is available to cure too high pressure when pcv fails ???

check the breather system for blockages

many thanks for the info. Can you buy the 3 inch pcv to replace the existing one ?? The one i have is a y shaped unit.
