iPhone n Q7

Noob here.
I'm looking to change my phone over and fancy an iPhone.
Anyone running this through the bluetooth comms pack at the moment?
I've got a 2009 S Line with Tech, Visibility, Comms, Load Packs.

I've also got a Clarion MAX973HD in my Ford Lightning that I would like it to be compatible with the phone as well....

I also have a 2009 S-Line and have just recently purchased an iPhone (as it was phone upgrade time and it negated the cost of buying an iPod).

1. My iPhone can be hooked up through the bluetooth no problem.
2. I can gain access to and play my music from the iPhone through the AMI.

Unfortunately you cannot do both at the same time! When I hooked the phone up to the car and started play music from the phone (via the AMI) the car told me that the phone cannot be answered whilst playing music - seems daft to me but thats what it says....

Basically it can do both but not just at the same time. I think that this will probably be an Audi tech issue as there is no problems answering the phone when listening to music outwith the car....

The solution of course is to buy an iPod for your music and a phone to phone people....

I have a Dension Gateway 500 fitted to my 2006 MMI High Q7

All tracks artists etc. on the front screen plus a USB and 3.5mm input.

Calls come through fine with the phone paired to the Bluetooth module.
