A5 Sportback

Its now official. I would be interested in this over an A4 more Practical and if it does keep the Coupe lines better looking.

In my opinion it's a fugly looking car but I bet it will sell well.

its looks brilliant, Coupe looks with 4 doors what more could any A5 fan ask for. No more "your going to have to get out at the front" when passengers are in the back.

I'll def be interested!!!

The model in those pics looks pretty smart actually.

I wasn't keen on the A5SB before as photos I had seen looked like a squat A4 Avant/Big A3 Sportback lol but those pics are a lot better.

I spoke to Coventry Audi and all the sales guys have been to see the car a couple of months ago

i still prefer the A5 coupe, however i would also prefer this over the A4. Here's the audi press release with more information. Should start seeing this car around October;

I have one on order. 2.0 TDi 170, S-Line with toys in Lava Grey. Dealer has ordered one of their dealer cars in my spec and, if I fit in it (I'm 6'4") with the family then I'm going to trade the A6, as I get first refusal on the A5. Pretty sure it'll be ok as the new A4 is big enough, and the Sportback has a slightly longer wheelbase.

Dealer has been fantastic from start to finish, and deal is excellent. Build completion is currently end October, but hopefully earlier.

Yep, but at 6ft 4" and with 2 kids, it's way, way too small for me. The back seats have poor legroom, so it's far from perfection for me unfortunately. I like the look of the SB but need to see it in the flesh really - horses for courses I guess.

I've had an A5 and I think the Sportback is better than an A4 and an A6 by a mile :D

Thanks for the advice, but I'm happy to use my own eyes and make up my own mind!! I guess there are even people out there who really don't like the A5 coupe.....
