anyone got armster armrest in a mk5?

am thinking of getting an armster armrest fitted to my mk5 golf. has anyone else got one?

do you find it gets in the way of the handbrake/gear stick? does it match the interior or look really out of place?

Yes, I have one, its got some handy extra storage space in, the kids love the extra air con draft and cup holders in the summer and on the long motorway runs it adds a little bit of extra comfort.

Mine is always pulled out as well, even when parking still plenty of space to reach the hadbrake and put it on correctly

Don't know about the gap. Is it an overlap or proper gap?

Also does anyone know what types of insert you can get for the inside? I don't want a CD multi-changer, just an empty space with some out of sight storage.

is there a plain insert available?
