clutch vibration

I have a 2.0 tdi gt sport 08 13k, does anyone else find that if you touch the clutch peddle or rest your foot on it while the engine running ( clutch released) it vibrates badly please help. going in to garage tuesday

Sounds normal to me... is it a "pulsing" feeling?

its more like a grinding feeling, mechanical

I get a pulsing feeling in mine, its always been there I think.

But now you got me thinking it could be related to my Engine Shaking Thread.

You dont suffer from a rough idle do you??

yes i do, i have had the software and flywheel done but still there, going to garage today! looking at possible clutch change or drive shaft etc. because i have clutch judder too.

Ah interesting, do let us know what the outcome is.

The only other thing I though of was engine mounts, i know there has been some reported problems, perhaps the shking could be contributed to that.

It would certainly make sense in my case as they would have had to remove the mount to change the belt, thus disturbing it.

I bought a 2006 TDI (105hp) about 3 months ago and it's the first question I asked the dealer.

I test drove another TDI in a different garage and felt the same vibration in the clutch.

I used to have a Laguna and you could feel the engine vibrating in the gear lever. Drove that for 2 years and it never gave me any problems.

Had the software update again as first garage lied to my face and all the same still guess its just a golf thing
