How to remove Concert stereo?

Hi All

Have finally got my 1998 Avant - took a lot longer to arrive than I thought it would.

The battery has gone flat at some point and stereo needs code putting in. However, code is written on main body of stereo (according to last owner), so it needs to come out so I can find out what it is.

Any ideas of how to remove unit without affecting dash? Does it require a specific tool?

There are two small slots at the bottom corners of the unit,these require special radio removal keys which are expensive from Audi but go cheaper on ebay,or try local dealer to see if they would pull it out for you.M
