Hi,
Just had an MOT failure on my 2001 S3.
Failed on nearside front lower suspension arm. I'm fearful of getting fleeced - how much should be charged for parts and fitting. Also is there any way I can check if it really has gone by myself?
Thanks

probably the rear bush of the arm has gone, pretty common to be honest,
check this site out to get an idea of price

fitting wise about an hour, no more than an hour and half,
Hope that helps

Make sure you get it wheel aligned up afterwards aswell.
You will be suprised how much it can be out after replacing bottom arm/bushes.
