Well, neighbour hit corner of my 2007 A6 2.7.
Audi sent over a brand new 3.0 and I spotted a few differences (ones that i wanted!!)
1) DRL LEDs in Headlights!! - 1k a pair I believe? any cheaper alternatives? out there???....
2) New lower bumper, looks a lot more aggresive than my s-line one.
seems to be more flared around the foglights and deeper lip spoilers. -
would they fit straight onto an 07?
3) MMI and DIS screen look different. - is this just a software mod?
4) The Navi was new (not 3rd gen) - One thing that does my **** in with
the crap Audi nav is the ridiculous door number choice!!
(door number 1-111 or 2-112) - something pathetic like that. The nav
should say (your destination is somewhere on this road!)
However, the new one allowed you to specifically put the door number in
and it did say (your destination is on your right) something more
accurate anyway! - i was impressed (still no postcode search though)
The nav change was very appealing to me, is this just a software mod?
I have the new 2009 nav disc in mine and currently running FW 5150.
Any advice on the above would be great!
Ps: the 3.0 is a better drive than the 2.7 (now I want to upgrade!!)
