Q7 replacement wing mirror problem

I am replacing the wing mirror on my Q7 on the drivers side - I have fitted the casement wing and now need to fit the wires to the casement attached to the mirror - It is not clear which way the wires from the mirror should be attached
to the casement. Any ideas? Many thanks.
