Nope, Verve up at Bogside, Wishaw. Had a bad experience at Verve Dalmarnock a few years ago with a previous Golf and swore never to go back

Sorry to hear about the Dalmarnock experience - I'm currently waiting for an "experience" to be resolved and hopefully I'm going to be able to report it turned eventually into a good one, fingers crossed.

Was a bit wet up in North Yorkshire at the end of last weekend....it started out ok, as did my car but towards the end of the trip, he looked a bit mucky. Great drive and with regards to the fuel...Home Counties to North Yorkshire Moors, some spirited driving over to Croft Circuit and back, then home and all on a tank. Last year, my Mazda 3 didn't even make it to Croft before a refill so I'm well pleased with this one :D:D

Very nice. Is that the Vancouver alloys?

Yes mate, they are indeed the Vancouvers.

I got the chrome 'Volkswagen' number plate surrounds off eBay but I still can't find MK6 chrome sill protectors.....any ideas anyone?

Nice! :)

WeegeiBob.

Thanks....it's really hard to keep it looking clean....maybe black was the wrong choice in that respect but it does look the DB's after application of some elbow grease ;)

eBay item number: 260414219346
from seller http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/1aautostyling/

Really easy to fit too. The instructions do indicate using double sided tape but I used screws for the surround and then capped screws for the plate (I would recommend buying some security screws to fit the plates) The front one does sit slightly proud but looks ok IMO.

**Just checked and they appear to have sold out but email the seller as he may get more in.**

Cheers, look good. I've been thinking about getting some numberplate surrounds for my VW, might get those ones or possibly these - http://www.justmatz.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=plate_wolfauto

I don't think you can go wrong with Black. Maybe a bugger to keep clean but when it is clean it looks the dogs danglies; supplement them with the vancouvers and you have one sexy lookin beast! Thats not to say golfs don't look nice in other colours its just Black is my personal favourite!!
