Well all my previous cars have been petrol, My most recent being a saxo vtr.
Ive recently bought a Y reg, TDI S and being a complete noob to the diesel world i was wondering what i can actually do to the engine etc to get power/speed gains as its only 90Bhp so it feels awfully sluggish compared to the saxo?

Im getting it chipped on saturday and am told that should add between 10-30 bhp is this correct?
All help appreciated :biglaugh:

Chipping/remapping generally makes a significant difference to turbo charged cars, petrol and diesel, so you should notice quite a change!!:D

Chip it and leave it. Put your money into making the car look nicer, or handle better with better springs or brakes etc. Or save up for something a bit faster, a PD130 and remap that.

That's the way to go.

yeah defo chip it, you should get roughly 115hp out of i think, but i was quoted 143hp from my 110 and got 158, so its a rough guess. defo chip it and leave it standard looking.
