...that forms on the inside of the windscreen glass?
I don't smoke in my car, or at all actually, and I don't let anyone else do so, but the film is awful.
Is there a product to prevent this from happening?
I was reading iallen1@btinter thread about wipers and their thoughts about Rain-X but I don't think they offer a product for this.
Thanks,
Pete
Could just be fumes from all those new plastics in the car.
Rain X do a foaming glass cleaner, which I got free in a promo pack with the "proper" Rain X treatment. The cleaner can be used on the inside and outside surfaces of all glass. Works well: screen is perfectly clear now, even in low sunlight.
Any car or household glass cleaner should do the trick.

Thanks for that. I saw the foaming glass cleaner, but I was wondering if there was a way of stopping it all together - but if it's coming off the plastics, that won't be possible!
I'll give the Rain-X a go and see how I get on.
Thanks newb,
Pete

Watch putting Windex on the inside of the windscreen.
I use that on my last car and some of it got on the plastic console.
When I rubbed it off it damaged the plastic.
Yes - spray it on the cloth and rub it onto the glass, rather than spraying onto the glass direct.
If you're putting proper RainX on the outside, it is worth cleaning it with the cleaner first.
