Oxygen/Lambda sensor

Hi,:1zhelp:
Has anyone ever changed the oxygen sensor on an Audi 80 (1993 2.0e) before?
I am trying to find out if it is situated near the cat or manifold.
I think it is the 3 wire type from what I have read.

i dont know where it is but its easy to locate, jack the front of the car up, slide under it and have a look where it screws in. I think its in the manifold/downpipe about half way down, just unscrew it ad un plug it and replace using some thread lock

just done mine and its located in the side of the CAT just along from the down pipes.

be carefull when unscrewing the old one, turn out one turn at a time then back half turn untill removed. will take a while but it will save your threads.

Thanks for the advice, I am just waiting for the sensor to be delivered.
I will let you know how I go on with it and if it passes the MOT.
