hi newbie on here,
just purchased an a3 1.8t sport(2000).After a couple of days it began idling and running very lumpy intermitently and management light came on. Local garage plugged it in and following codes came up: 17705,17536,16684,16685,16686,17658.Garage said last 4 codes could be running out of fuel at sometime.They reset system and everything ran fine for 2 days,then rough again.Took it back to dealer( typically running perfectly) and he says he has tightened all air pipes as 17705 is poss air leak and has test driVen it and all seems fine.I just know within a couple of days it will be back to its old tricks......any ideas/suggestions?....cheers:confused:
