Any one from the M1 going left/west, through rugby, coventry, birmingham, wolverhampton, cannock, redditch bromsgrove, stratford, leamington ect. is in the WEST MIDLANDS

EDIT forgot some places, Stoke, Lichfield, worcester, pershore, evesham, uttoxeter, derby, burton on trent, coalville, penkridge, wombourne.

leicester based folk have the choice between either midland group

this is my rough suggestion as to the areas
http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb105/golfmk5gttdi/eastwestmids.jpg

there is obviously flexability with the boundaries, they are only a suggestion.

Be in your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks time. Visiting all the Bathams pubs. Your beer bus is always a good day out. Staying in Dudley bus stops at Stourbridge, Kidderminster and about 7 other pubs. Looking forward to it roll on the 4th of July:beerchug:

Daily commute from Lichfield to Rugby A38/A446/M6 so guess that counts me in.

I also belong in this group then, live in Alrewas, more commonly called 'octopus' by my colleagues, on account of them having problems remebering it!!!

For those not in the know, Alrewas is between Lichfield and Burton-upon-Trent, now famous for the National Arboretum War memorial.

Anyone passing drop me a line & I'll introduce you to the local pubs, famous village butchers etc

hello, i'm in Sutton Coldfield. Not a VAG owner yet, but in the next week or two i'm trying to track down a mk5 golf, either 1.6FSI SE or 1.9 TDI SE.

test drove 3 on saturday, made an offer on one but was turned down. fingers crossed for the next ones i see...!

In the past have owned a mk2 1.6 driver, mk3 1.4, and an F reg Jetta, which was a special car.

We had a german exchange student come to wokr with us sometime ago and the lads in the works decided to teach her to speak proper it was quite funny listening to a black country being spoken with a german accent it was Bostin....

According to the map, Newcastle-under-Lyme is about half a millimetre outside the West Midlands region. I reckon I should quietly sneak in here and hope nobody notices and boots me out! I get Central TV and BBC Midlands Today, if that counts?

I drive a A4 (B5) Avant in green with old style RS4s on it.If anyone on here sees me out and about give us a beep or wave.
