I hope to be driveing it for a long time with good fuel economy.

My car at the moment (donation from my father-in-law) is a 1995 Audi Avant 2.6 petrol fuel eater at 16ltr/100km around my town....... anyone want it?..... please?

I hope to learn about looking after my car on this forum and maybe even add something to it!

Any tips as to what to check or look out for would be welcome!

I had a 1995 VW Golf before the Audi and a VW Transporter before comeing to Norway so the Passat is my 3rd VW!

cheers,

-John

I sold the Audi!:D

We drove the Passat through Oslo in pretty heavy traffic on friday afternoon, still got 6.3 ltr/100km........ the Audi would have gotten about 14 ltr/100km (maybe more) and diesel is around 1.7 kroner/ltr (US 26 cents) cheaper!:D

Still, I have never driven a car that cornered and stuck to the road better than that old Audi Quatro (the only thing I'll miss about it!).:(

We are holidaying in south Norway next week, probably do around 1000 km, I'm looking forward to it now!

cheers,

-John
