I've been trying to eliminate hesitations whilst running under load, sometimes part power sometimes virtually no power. and hunting at idle. So far a 16497 code (G42 IAT too high) has been eliminated by changing the G42 sensor. At the last service the plugs were changed and it seemed to run a bit better but is now back to its old ways. Also the ignition control amplifier has been changed.
Today I've got a new code:
18048 / P1640 Internal Contr.Module (EEPROM) Error
Can the ECU be reflashed with this, or is it likely to be a new ECU?
