Changing 1.8i vento to a golf 2.0 16v engine swap info

Hi im new to this forum Im just changing my engine over to a 2.0 16v out of a golf gti.

will the whole wiring loom have to be changed? also looking at the gear box off of the 1.8 will that fit onto the 16v lump, will it cope with the power increase too?
