Just thought I'd update progress on my car. ;)

Had previously sourced and replace my standard handbrake cover and DSG lever with the Edition 30 (red stitch) ones.

Today tackled my steering wheel and replaced my standard GTI DSG one with the Edition 30 GTI DSG with multifunction controls.

Used the guides available to do the wheel and due to the new wheel being a MFSW had bought the extra wiring loom required but was fortunate to find that my car was already pre set-up from factory to run a MFSW (despite not having the buttons) so saved on having to buy/pay for the wiring or modules :D

Looks sweet now and is just like the new MK6 GTI if you have seen one. They have made that to Euro spec with the red stitched steering, handbrake and gear lever !!

A question for those of you who have the MFSW. The up and down arrows on the right hand side control panel, can these be programmed so that they change tracks rather than info on the onboard computer ?

Secondly, I need help .

After refitting everything the drivers airbag warning light won't go off. Is there an easy cure to get this light to switch off or will it need VAGCOM ? (and if so can anyone help me please) :1zhelp:

Hope you like the pics :biglaugh:

Does anyone have any ideas ?

The airbag warning light is not an issue as can be reset easily. The main Q's is the buttons on the steering wheel (up and down arrows), can these be programmed to do tracks etc as I dont have the full on board computer screen ?
