I have this diagnostic usb hardware,

This supports 11 protocols.
I have a VW passat 2003 and it works fine.
BUT, i also have a golf variant -98. (Golf Mk3 i think) ...in chassienumber VIN code nr 7 and 8 it sais 1H.
I can not get any connection at all. Does it have a protocol not supported with my hardware`?
I use VAG-COM software, maybee wrong version?
`Anybody out there that knows what is wrong?
