Heater fan and window regulator problems

Hi all, new owner here. Unfortunately with a couple of problems already.

Firstly the other day my heater fan/blower stopped working, the lights above the switch come on both side temps etc work, but the fans will not blow on hot or cold, also the recirc button doesnt come on, or if it does only very briefly then goes off again.

I can hear noises inside the dash when clicking from off to on but no air.

Anyone suffered anything similar?

second problem is that my window regulator is knackered, there was a loud bang when winding window up and now it can be moved up or down by hand, my question is from reading the internet this seems to have been a known problem with vw, can I get them to fix this for free? apparently in Aus VW offer a 7 year window warranty.

Any help would be most appriciated

You can easily remove the fresh air motor,remove the glove box,to access and remove the motor,and you will be able to test the motor,The window regulating wire or fittings,appear to have broken,as for the 7 year waranty,i have never heard of that.
