Alot of you now know the name APTuning but you may not know that I am now an approved Viezu dealer http://www.viezu.com (http://www.viezu.com/)as well as chippedUK
being a viezu dealer you can only expect nothing but the best. And as I am able to remap the latest engines in the VAG range that use the new MED17 ecu's I want to offer my services to the MK6 golf owners. Prices from just £235! And in case you are worried about the remap affecting your warranty then check this out:

Sounds good - A couple of Qs - is it noticeable to VW dealers and can it be "reset" by VW dealers?

I'm going to look at the Warranty Qs on this too...

Best thing to do is firstly NOT to talk to the ******** as most of them will say that it will affect the warranty. The thing is, if you don't tell them they will not know, and to get around the possibilty of them re-flashing the ecu you simply tell them that you do not want any kind of software update. The only real way the dealers will know is if driving the car of if they were to read the map from the car and compare it against an original that they may have on file themselves. I do some re-mapping for a couple of dealers myself for their demonstrator cars and they have no problem with remapped cars of customers, but each to their own on warranty issues i'm afraid. It's a case of what they dont know wont hurt them in reality.
