Hello all,
Firstly apologies if this has already been covered in another thread I have checked thoroughly and most answers to my question pertain to the A3 1.8T and not the non turbo version.
I am about to buy a 1.8 Sport (non turbo) with 73K on the clock. The dealer says that the cam belt does not need changed yet as the service schedule of the vehicle says it gets done at 115K. I note though that many say it should get done earlier on the 1.8T and also I am aware that manufacturers can change their minds later as to what the interval should be.
My question is can any one confirm whether or not Audi has revised the cam belt change interval for this model since it has been released and if so what is the new interval. Or can someone recommend a good web site to visit that will provide the info I'm looking for.
Many thanks in anticipation :1zhelp:
