Hi, first post for advice here.

Looking at lowering my Golf MK5 GT FSI 2.0 by about 35-40mm.

Can anyone direct me to some decent sites, maybe some of the sponsored site for here where i can get my hands on some lowering springs?

I dont want to spend too much, such as £500, but I dont want to spend £20 and make it look ****! lol.

Thansk for any advice.

Try the Eibach sportline spring range. I have ordered the Eibach Pro Kit springs for my GTI as only wanted a bit of a drop (10-15mm) ;)

Hi, i had the same dilemma with regards to lowering my gti. didnt want to go daft low and also didnt want to bodge up my shocks etc. after posting on here the eibachs were mentioned. not sure what it will look like when fitted but as soon as they arrive/fitted will post pics on here of before (standard gti) and afters (eibachs).

Have you got any pictures of your car lowered 10-15mm thinking about doing it myself. Cheers

Try this,

http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=70470

if this doesnt work go into the vw model specific section, to golf mk5 2005-2008/9 then go to page 3 of this section. It should be in there about half way down.
