Nice to share this. Its pretty straight forward but a number of people were complaining that the key was getting stuck early on. Including myself

Key in the ignition  That looks far too complicated. Here is my procedure.

Pick key up from key hook in kitchen
Put in pocket
Get in car
Depress clutch and press start button
Drive
Press stop button
Get out car
Remove key from pocket
Put key on key hook in kitchen

The scenario that scares me is :

Get in car
Depress clutch and press start button
Drive
Press stop button
Get out car
Find you don't have the key and that it unlocked and started because the key was close enough at the time.
Find you're stranded and unable to drive home or even lock the car.

It's happened!!

you cannot start the car unless the key is inside the car ,doesn't matter how close to the car door it is you get the message " no key detected " unless the key is well inside the drivers door - so can't quite see how that has happened

once you have started even if you get out the car with the engine running as soon as the key exits the car the drivers display changes yellow displaying no key detected and a chime sounds like the seat belt is off - you'd have to be blind deaf and forgetful ! :biglaugh:
