My wife has a Golf V5, Tiptronic (Dec 2003 @ 35Kmiles) and I have a Passat 2.0 Auto (May 2004 @ 22Kmile) both purchased brand new and fully dealer serviced. I now need to sell one of them.

The Golf has just had a service where the CV boots / lower bushes/ spark plugs, were changed and so should be Ok for some time. ( i live in the Middle East so sun, temp. and salt eats rubber !!)

I would imagine that the Passat will need that shortly.

The decision as to which one to sell is simply on any available data as to which one is expected to be more mechanically reliable and less costly than the other based on user experiences.

I guess that comes down to Engine, gearbox and specific mechanical items unique to each model.

Any help would be appreciated.

thks
