panel filter for TDI

hi, im looking at changing my air panel filter to a performance one for my 1.9tdi sport 105bhp.

any recommendations?

Dont use an open cell foam panel filter, or the leading edge of your turbo compressor/inducer will ablate, like a helicopter blade in the desert.

Use a panel filter that has a close cotton screen or similar fine particulate filter.

It is debatable whether there is any performance gain over the paper filter on standard hardware.

Hi,

The standard Filter is fine, you wont see any gains, but if you want to upgrade, keep anyway from any product which uses a lube as (ie some K&N products, ) as they kills the MAFS over time.
