How best to remove road dust...

We live on a reasonably busy A road. Because of that fact, during the dryer months of the year our cars are constantly getting covered in road dust!

Other than rinsing before washing, is there a better way of dealing with this problem?

Snow foam. Used with a pressure washer and foam lance. Will pull off a lot of the dirt before washing.

Weird as I cannot remember it being this bad in years past, the world it seems is getting more dusty.

As for cleaning, I always pre-rinse with a jet washer. I hate the idea of rubbing that dust into my paint when washing.

Got to agree. Pre-washing with jet wash or foam tablet before you go anywhere near it with a wash mitt.;)
