Having seen pictures of the Mk6 dash, it looks like the illumination is white and not the normal golf blue/red. Is that the case?

The dash lights are white i.e. instruments and computer - the back illumination on switches, etc is red.

There is no "blue" option on my GT, but perhaps the higher spec GTD & GTI's will have it.

Can anyone tell me the exact bulb sizes for all of the interior lighting as I want to change all of them for coloured bulbs............... I usually buy from a company called ultraleds really good bulb company :)

You can have the bulbs in the dash lighting changed for about £200. There are companies out there thata do it.................. :)

Why do you want to change them mate?:confused:
I think the white makes the dash look really modern and crisp - the blue is a bit old hat for me.

Not planning on changing the dash ones just the interior lighting :)

White? White! Audi hand me down at it's best lol

I like the blue though was pretty unique- nearly every manufacturer from Ford Focus to Vauxhall Insignia is opting for white now.
