I know where lays farm is, its on charlton road coming into keynsham, so may pay them a visit as well.

I have now been to Just Audi in brislington and picked up a few second hand bits, they had everything I asked for and I thought the prices were good. They said if I wanted any reprogramming done it would be £35+vat, much cheaper than the dealers and they could do it while I waited.

I saw a place thats just opened up in Bristol, an independant VAG specialist that looks pretty impresive. They were just finishing the electrics when I went past but I saw inside and it was huge, like a main dealer workshop.

Next time I go by I will find out whats it's called.

Hi,
I've got to get my Audi in for someone to check the oil pressure and fix whatever the problem ends up being. The local garage have repleced the sensor and flushed the engine and it didn't work so they recommended Graham Batt on the Feeder Road. Has anyone used this garage before?
Regards,
Nick

Just realised how old this thread is...

The place I refered to back in March is called Streetwise Automotive... I never did post the details did I... Doh!

I have taken my Audi there a few times since as mentioned in other posts on here... The guy there who I deal with is the owner. He has about 20 odd years experience in VAG main dealer workshops. They certainly have all the right kit there inc all the diag stuff.

I do keep meaning to re visit the idea of getting them to Revo my car... it's just the money situation that stops me looking further into it.

I can also vouch for Streetwise. Just had full service, mot, cambelt & a few other bits done on my Golf GT TDi and was very impressed. Reasonable price, knowledgable & helpful staff plus a mini valet thrown in to boot - bargain!

After searching for a decent place to get my polo serviced I read good reviews about Streetwise Automotive. VW/AUDI specialist.
I'm always concerned about trying new garages but i'd definitely return to this one.

I just had a full service. They were very good reported on any problems, kept me updated and were well priced. The owner of the garage was originally VW trained and branched off to start his own. His name is Mitch Bull, very helpful and polite.

Just wanted to say thans for the recommendation on Streetwise Automotive - they've jus had my car for service and mot and sorting out some niggling little problems and I was throughly impressed with them. They know Audi's and they don't cost the earth either!
