:biglaugh: Good God !! VW agreed my clutch and flywheel are covered under parts warranty.
It's been an uphill struggle. I had to agree to pay up front for 30% of the inspection cost (now refunded) - I feared the worst, but they have said its faulty (which I knew, but did not want to have to argue about to prove).
All I have now is to wait for the miracle that says its just an N75 and not the Turbo that's fornicated. I am not holding my breath!
Oh and while the car was in pieces, they found a split CV gaiter the previous garage did not spot on service, while also over-filling with oil - guess which dealer I am not going back to?
