Golf Plus 1.9tdi service costs

just booked my Feb 2006 golf plus 1.9tdi105s in for its second long life service and have been quoted, up to £260 for service depending on numbers of filters changed, also £50 for brake fluid change. I also asked about the air conditioning and was quoted £99 for servicing it, this seems a lot, is it really necessary?

:zx11: Have been quoted similar costs for the same service on the same age vehicle! Plus over £200 for a change of the equivalent of the cambelt which should be changed after 4 years apparently, regardless of the mileage on the clock? Main Dealer Madness!
