Brake lights not working

I have replaced the bulbs to no avail. Checked the fuse, that's fine. Someone mentioned the brake light switch might need replacing but when I press it the eye level brake light comes on so I am not sure it is that. Can anybody offer any help.

there is a connector behind the brake pedal that plugs into the cable, it went on mine but i had to take the plastic surround out under the steering wheel to get to it.

Yip it will be your brake light switch behind you brake pedal. The switch only costs about a fiver your warning light should also come on.
