Any ideas ??

Just recently have noticed when starting my car a bad smell of eggs and also when you stop its a tdi passat and have not had this before, any help would be great.:confused:

I have seen posts on here about a well know problem of the Windscreen wash bottle becoming contaminated and fermentation occuring as a consequence and being described as a rotten egg smell.
Solution was a good wash out with a hose and some cleaner that would be safe for the car and its components.
Catyltic converters on Petrol vehicles give of a sulpher smell at times also.
