was out driving when smoke started coming from car ,temp went up to 120 then stop sign came on dashboard, pulled over seemed to be no coolant in reserve so filled up with some water from local shop.filled it up and was ok for a bit but when i got home checked in engine and could see a leak from a metal pipe coming from block that then runs just under dipstick.car is ok as it is but does anyone know what this pipe is.ive felt hole in the pipe but looks a right job to replace .is it going to cause me major probs if i carry on running it .cheers in advance:zx11:

It depends on which engine you have, so if you give us the engine code, our knowledgable experts can help you better.:D

I reckon he is on LW whilst the rest of us are MW.

A bit of clarity and an engine code and we will be on FM.

Scouser,

We need to know what engine is in your car !!!
