Audi a3 ABS fault

My second problem is i have the abs orange warning indicator light on i tested the abs and sure enough the car skidded to a halt!! does anyone have any ideas what this problem could be and how to cure it??? i know it could be more than one problem but any suggestions???? cheers

You'll need a fault code read to determine which component is causing the error, but mine did the same and it was simply a wheel speed sensor, apparently not uncommon, and cheap and easy to fix.
Of course, it could be any number of other things too, but fingers crossed!
