is there anyone in the birmingham area who can scan my car, want to see check why the loss of power, on the motorway does not go over 2500 rpm in sixth gear could it be the air flow metre????? don't no. :1zhelp:

had a scan done came up air mass metre and air intake temperature sensor, so i've fitted a new air mass meter, but the performance is not like before, over 3500 rpm it struggles to pick up speed, was told that because of the new air mass meter you need to get the ecu reset but there is no fault code coming up now showing everything is ok i'm lost please help????????????????????? :aargh4:

yes fitted a genuine item, it okay until it get to 3000 plus rpm then it just feels real sluggish rev struggling to get up

VAGMAN54

no it like that all the time. its okay at low revs pulling okay it when you put the good old foot down, that where the problem is. the it feels like a none turbo? what you recon it could be, shall i leave it hopefull it should sort it self out. because like i said that the air intake pipe mounted between the front panel and the air box was missing, the corugrated bit. lack of air circulation was going through the engine for while.

sounds like your losing boost pressure somewhere either intercooler os sticking n75 valve it needs checking out with vcds to see what the turbo is boosting at

where is the n75 valve located, i'll have a check, have two intercoolers on the car, the o/s intercooler did have a split i seal it with some strong adhesive went rock hard don't think any air pressure is losing from there. today whilst driving engine management light came on and the display on the dash saying workshop emmisions? another problem just great
