2000-4500 RPM misfire

Hi Everyone,

I'm hope someone out there can help me please!!!!!

I have a 1995 coupe with a 2.0L 8v
at 2000 to 4500 rpm there is a lack of power and she is missing and popping like a b***h.

i have checked all the following and have ran out of ideas now.

spark plugs
leads
dis.cap
rotor arm
relays under the dash

It does'nt seem to make a difference if the engine is hot or cold and i'm starting to find that she is idleing rough.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Check the compression

sounds like an air leak to me .. check inlet hoses and manifold gasket.

Problem Solved.

The woodruf key on the back of the crankshaft pully had snapped and moved the timing out by one tooth!!!!

Changed the Pulley set everything back to TDC and she go's like a dream again.
