I have installed a Postman Car Alarm system onto my Polo 2000 W reg yesterday.
Most of the functions works but everytime I unlock my door, it will lock itself after 30 seconds, even I turn on the ignition / start the engine. Which causes the ultrasound sensor and shock sensor inside the car activated and the alarm went off even I moved slightly.
It said that you can select function and amend the settings.
On the Instruction it said:
1. Disarm the system
2. Turn ignition OFF to ON
3. Press Valent switch 7 times within 10 sec
4. Turn ignition OFF then the LED flash once per second
5. Press the switch the function numbers you would like to change within 20 sec. Every press will have one siren chirp for pressing confirmation.
The function number of auto-arm is 10
I followed the instruction but on step 5, there is no siren chrip when I press the switch. Is the switch the button on the LED?
Anyone knows what is going on?
It is very annoying when I sit in the car for 30 sec the door locked itself and need to unlock the car with the remote(cant unlock with the central locking panel on the door as if the Portman system lock the car, it has to be unlocked by the Portman remote)
