ive heard some bulbs can trip off fault codes for headlights due to changes in voltage

will these be ok in an audi a4 b5 1.6 2000?

Hi,you wont get any bulb monitoring faults so long as ths wattage is the same as the original.watts divided by volts = amps drawn by the bulb.

Well the wattage generally is 55 watts per bulb,with a 12volt electrical system.I see from your link to the site they are 100watt,technically illegal!
Your origional bulbs would draw 9.2 amps,the 100 watt bulbs is 16.6amps!!Sorry,i didn`t see the wattage on the add.There is a difference in the resistance of each bulb,so you may get a bulb warning if you have the monitoring on your car.1.3 ohms on the 55`s,0.7 on the 100`s.

Hi Chris,sorry for delay! I haven`t personally changed bulbs for higher than recommended wattage,so i cant give you an educated answer!You can get `Brighter` than normal H7 bulbs at 55watts,so this is another option?
