Air Con not working

I have a 1997 Audi A4 Tdi 1.9

The air-conditioning is not doing anything - but the climate control is working - to keep the car warm

Anyone have an easy solution before i start to spend money?

Have you had the system checked? could be as simple as it needs re-gasing... They recommend that the system is serviced every 2 years, and the gas "topped up"

I was thinking that but there's no change in temperature at all - its just warm atmospheric air - but i will have that looked at
