Any advice on a decent workshop manual for a '93 Audi 80 (avant tdi) Haynes ( although it is a stretch to say they produce decent manuals :D ) only goes upto 1990....
Cheers Dom

The Bentley manuals are v. expensive....need one mainly for the engine (tdi) going to try the passat version of haynes assuming this deals with the right age ,as the engine is the same....all be it in transverse

I was also looking for a manual, and eventually settled for a german version -

Dieter Korp's "Jetzt helfe ich mir selbst" series

You can find it on amazon for €20

http://www.amazon.de/Jetzt-helfe-ich-selbst-Band/dp/3613015625/ref=sr_1_1/028-1465070-4890916?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1175777051&sr=1-1

There are separate versions for according to engine type. I have "Band 163" which covers TDI 91-94.

Its a great resource even if your german is rather iffy since it contains alot of pictures and diagrams - including electrical.

Its certainly helped me out to the tune of more than €20.

Luckily I have a german speaking girlfriend which helps alot!

Cheers,

Timk
