My 80 had those wheels put on it a nice set of 17" 5 spokes i think would look good or a BBS styled multi spoked.

Ya i guess they would but i have been checking out peoples Audis in Germany and they seem to be putting on deep dish alloys so i am now thinking of a set of 18" deep dish with a polished lip some thing like these.

I'm thinking about after market alloys too. I have a slow puncture, and my 2 front tyres need replacing anyway (low tread). Cost would be £260 for 2 tyres, but I've seen these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/17-New-RS4-Audi-VW-Style-Alloy-Wheels-2254517-Tyres_W0QQitemZ200332305160QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_C arParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Rims_Car_Wheels_ET?hash=i tem200332305160&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1689%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1308

£425 for wheels + tyres isn't bad. Any ideas if they'd fit an 80 Cab?

Hi Paul I put Some 18 inch SSW Mesh on my 2.3E cab runnin on 225/40/ZR18 rubber 785 quid all in from my local wheel and tyre place, no rubbin look great, and tyres only sixty quid to replace every time I hit pothole, although I dont think they do these rims in 4 stud anymore.
