:D Oh it is easy.....with a little improvisation !

TOOL: Get a 14mm ring end spanner (thats what I used).

1) Open the service hatch under the wheel arch front (slides up - with a little resistance)

2) The holder is hollow and and as you cannot get (fat) fingers around the holder I pushed the ring end of the spanner inside the holder !
This also meant I did not have to shove all my hand through the service hatch.

3) The spanner should be a tightish fit inside the holder.

4) Hold the other end of the spanner (it should just about still be out of the service hatch depending on the length)

5) Then turn anti clockwise by about 45 degrees.

6)The holder should now pull out staying on the spanner if it is tightish fitting !

7) retract the holder+bulb from the service hatch

8) The bulb (501) can be pulled out of the holder and replaced.

Reverse the above to put back in !

REMEMBER to close the service hatch !!!!

My Extreme 501 360degree LEDS look great now, if you use LED bulbs and they do not come on then refit with a 180degree spin in the holder and they are polarity sensitive !

Hope it stops people going too mad !!
