Wahay!

Just sorting out insurance at the mo.

Best quote so far - £195.64 fully comp for the wife and I to drive with a £100 excess for a new B8 Audi A4 2.0T FSI S-Line 4 Door

Gonna ring the forum recommended insurer in the morning!

Rang the forum recommended insurers who said - can't get anywhere near that deal, buy it, so I did!

The price was £270.64 with £75 cashback thro' www.quidco.com

RESULT!!!

This was £4 LESS than last years policy on my B7 A4!

Believe it or not the new B8 A4 was substantially cheaper to insure that the B7 A4!

Did your dealer give you updates on when it shipped/when it arrived in the UK, etc? My B8 order (2.0 Tfsi Avant Quattro) went in on the same day, 21 Feb, and at present I'm told the car's still awaiting shipment!

I'm getting slightly jumpy, as really hoping it would arrive before my other impending delivery (wife now past her due date with our first)... Can't be long now for either, one way or another...! :D

Yes at each stage the Saleman contacted me - even tho' I think he's abit thick! I have so much confidence in him I think he'll try to deliver a silver A3, not there's anything wrong with them, its just I don't have any faith in him!
