just brought a gt tdi and n got screwed help

firstly its got no power. wont pul over 70- 80 and wont rev over 3k ish.
this morning the cooling fans run all the time.

any help/ ideas would be gret. its the 110 bhp model

I got screwed on my golf GTTDi 115 as well!:zx11:
Mine used water on motorway runs. It ended up being a cracked block after getting head gasket replaced and radiator reservoir replaced. When the water was low and the oil was low it lost power. I ended up fitting a second hand 130bhp engine & upgrading it all with 150 turbo & intercooler. After a remap I’m over the moon with it as its got 190bhp & 430Nm or torque only the clutch holding it back now!

You need to have the fault codes and timing checked by someone with vagcom, or a garage diagnostic tool.

A good place to start would be checking & cleaning/replacing the air mass meter.
