A8 fault codes.....

Does anybody out there have any idea what these fault codes refer to please:

The faults shown on your diagnostic kit are as follows:-

sporadic 002- Lower
Limit Exceeded

01704 -103 02/02
CAN BUS
Terminal 58
(Dimming)
----------------------------------------
sporadic 007 - Short
to ground

The symptom is that the following lights do not illuminate :-

Front ventilation vent dials
Head light toggle switch (though the fog lights light does illuminate)
Credit card holder on front centre dash
ESP on/off button
Colour Screen up/down button
Parking system button
Rear Ventilation vent dials in rear centre console and rear door pillars
All other buttons illuminate i.e. windows, climate system, mileage reset etc.

The 1 amp fuse on the driver's side no.29 - Switch Illumination has blown

I'm pretty confident that 00668 relates to low battery (which has be rectified.)

I'm thinking that 01704 relates to a faulty switch of some kind, which will hopefully be an order it and then plug and play job......
