Hi, not really car related as such, but i thought i would share with you my praise for autoglyms interior shampoo.

Yesterday, a toy of my daughters leaked from an old battery on to a new white carpet!!, tried loads of stuff to remove the stain including 1001 aerosol, 1001 carpet cleaner and some VAX shampoo, this removed a lot of the stain but it was still very visible.

Quick look in the garage and found my Autoglym interior shampoo, sprayed onto carpet, agitated with a brush and used a VAX to suck up the residue. Hay presto, stain gone!!

Well done to autoglym. Although i have not tried other manufacturers of interior car shampoos, i am well impressed with this product.:approve:

Hi, yeah i've used the leather cleaner. Its really good, cleans nicely and protects the leather too.
I use it on the mrs' mx5 seats and tonneau cover, they come up lovely

Many thanks and I'll buy and try some. I was just being cautious as I spent teh weekend fitting a leather interior and didn't want to wreck it at first touch!!!

Hi

It's ok but there are much better alternatives. we stock the Autoglym range although this stuff is better:

Zaino Z-9 Leather Soft Spray Cleaner (http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin/hcat_catalogue.cgi?fa=display&id=23&crid=&cmrid=1&cmpid=2)

Zaino Z-10 Leather in a Bottle (http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin/hcat_catalogue.cgi?fa=display&id=24&crid=&cmrid=1&cmpid=2)

Gurcharn personally uses this product.

Hi

Unfortunately I read your advice after I had bought some Autoglym but thanks anyway. I notice I |have some wear marks - maybe you can recommend something for this.

Hi

If the colour faded away from general wear and tear then something like a leather dye would help rejuvenate the leather, here is a link: http://www.liquidleather.com/re-colouring.htm

Hi

No its a cleaner not a dressing.

Its designed for upholstery but can also be used on plastics etc: http://elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin/hcat_catalogue.cgi?fa=display&id=137&crid=&cmrid=1&cmpid=2

Many thanks - does it really work that well and totally rejuvenate the leather. Looks to good to be true but I am a bit sceptical about these things.

I am very tempted to try it out.

Hi

If used correctly, you can get very good results, obviously it will not be as good as a brand new seat but you can certainly attain quality results.
