Using an iPhone in a Golf

Hi I have a 08 golf with the armrest / ipod socket, and would like to plug in my iPhone - but of course it doesn't fit. Does anyone make an adapter lead with an ipod style plug and socket that I can use too connect it?

I wouldn't expect it to work as a phone even if you could plug it in. it connects only to the CD in part of the stereo.

You will need a blutooth adaptor to make use of the phone functions. Parrot do one that also allow you to stream MP3's to the stereo,
