Has anyone fitted or know how to fit a LHD dead pedal/footrest in RHD VW Golf MK5 GTI ?

As the title, I have recently managed to get my hands on a genuine VW alu dead pedal for my golf mk5 gti however this pedal is made for LHD cars. Does anyone know who to mod this to fit into a RHD or done this ?
